My shame guilt and fear about that growing dependency also contributed more to my anxiety....
It's a particularly vicious cycle when the only tool you have makes the problem worse in the long run.
If you're concerned, please do speak to your Dr - there are a variety of things we can do for anxiety - some medicine based, and a lot not.
