Leaving an abusive alcohlic
I am ready to leave the relationship. Abuse is getting more frequent as far as verbal and emtional. I'm living alone which is good. I just fear repurcussions. Any recovering alcoholics or women codependents have any advice? I just got a new roommate and don't want drama here. I am emotionally ready and just need the right words, but there's no reasoning with him. I need the right strategy, but have faced so many times when he's showed up uninvited. I do have a former restraining order if I need to use it. But i was told since I've let him back and have to go to court it might be dropped because of MY actions. What will make an alcoholic go away? I've been told leaving, but I live in my home and will not leave. Thank you for anyone's advice.
