Back home

Well, I am back home in L.A. Nice to be home but I feel bad leaving her in this condition. The one brother who lives in CA arrived in NY last night. He will stay at least a week so that is a help to the two who live in NY.

Hevyn, she is not withdrawn and lethargic, now that you mention it. Her mood varies from feeling optimistic to saying "I'm never getting out of here" to just being so weary of feeling weak and uncomfortable. Sometimes she has pain but does not want the pain meds because they knock her out. But sometimes she takes them. It seems to me and my brothers she gets good care but she says no, she doesn't.

We had good news today, before I left. Bowel function returned! So they removed the feeding tube and she could *finally* drink a little cranberry juice and eat jello. That was great!

We are still waiting for the pathologist's report on the mass they took out, to learn if it's cancer. Prayer that it's not are appreciated.

Love to all..
