Glad you made it here. I know it is scary. I remember feeling like the ground had been swept from under me and there were no handrails.

Thing is, I found lifelines here, and in the fellowship of AA. It took me a while to start listening to any of them (being born knowing everything is a common alcoholic problem) but once I did start listening to others advice, and got a plan together and worked it, things started getting better.

Please spend some time devising a plan, and then stick to it. Just focusing on 'not drinking' is just white-knuckling things. We need to take action if we are to find a way of living comfortably in a state of sobriety.
