Recently I asked my doctor to order a calcium CT scan which he complied with. I got my results and they were not good, especially for a 41 year old. I've begun to treat my newly found heart disease (with NO symptoms) very agressly. This decision to get the test may have saved my life.
If you are over 40, ask your doctor about the test. Anyone that has had one and would like to share, please do!

Turning 40 in August - have had lots of bloodwork done since I stopped drinking in Feb but not sure about this one. I will look through my lab reports soon to see if I am missing important things, and also talk to my dr about this test.
Glad you are being treated and getting as healthy as possible. So important, especially now that we are grown but not too cooked.
