Hi Nanook, sounds like you and God are walking together. I went through something similar without needing to drink and looking back I see the reason for that was that I stayed in fit spiritual condition (which is like keeping the Power on) through continuing, in a small way, to work with other alcoholics. Just followed those few simple rules and God kept me safe and protected. Sounds like He is doing the same for you. Happy birthday!
