Also, I was reading in a article another use for the term dry drunk. People who are sober but have the appearance of being drunk; stumbling, slurring words, dropping things etc. At my worst, when I'd sober up for a few days this was definitely the case for me. It was different than the clumsiness of being in withdrawal. It felt like I was drunk even tho I knew I hadn't consumed any for days and wasn't experiencing withdrawals.

Alcohol also makes me forget where the walls were. Apparently it's also spilled over into sobriety... I'm still walking into walls, dropping things, and falling up the stairs. And I choke on my own spit at least every other day.

Went 10 pin bowling totally sober a week ago. Threw the ball backwards instead of down the alley.

It takes some real skill to be me and survive in this world.
Ha ha. I have booked many times and never threw the ball backwards. You are most certainly uniquely skillful
