I went to my 2nd AA meeting today. Two women accosted me at the end, and we we ended up blabbing in the ladies' room for 30 minutes, LOL.

As for excuses, one said she tells people she's allergic to alcohol. Ok, I guess I can't say that to people who know I'm something of a wine buff, but I liked it.

I didn't say a word at the meeting; she told me it took her FIVE YEARS to speak. That must be a world record! They told me that in the old days of AA, if you were new, you were told to "take the cotton out of your ears and stuff it in your mouth." I intend to do that, and just blab here.
