That's me as well. I quit for a bit over a year and then had weeks or months of sobriety here and there. My last binge was ugly but could have been much worse also (I have to keep reminding myself of that).
I'm grateful beyond words for that time sober, I KNOW that I can do it... I've proven that to myself. I need to be as vigilant as I was that time and use the same tools or else it will just be another "window" of not drinking... not sobriety... a big part was being on here and I haven't been back here since.
