Yes, band, my sentiments, exactly. It is a wonderful morning to be clean and sober.
This thread was my steady home for so long when I returned to SR in 2013. It holds such a special place in my heart.
Today I celebrate an SR milestone of sorts, 1000 days of clean and sober - haha, in a row! WAY beyond that, it has been 1000 days of working a recovery program.
I am so grateful to the old and the new generation of Undies for offering your experience, strength and hope. I've learned so much by reading about your struggles and triumphs.
Something else I have learned in my recovery journey this time. Life isn't always about highs and lows. A really nice place to be is right down the middle. For an active alkie like me...that place did not exist....today, it does. Peace and serenity can be ours - if, together, we work for it.
