I attend AA meetings and I listen to the ones who have been sober for years. When they relapse their drinking is much worse. This addiction never leaves us. Its cunning and patient. Very patient. Just waiting for you to have a weak moment.

I can tell I'm going to have to be vigilant for the rest of my life. Wow, I really don't remember signing up for this, but that's the way it goes I guess.
