Last night my husband suggested we go to a local buffet restaurant for dinner. I had been feeling fine, then WHAM, the offer stopped me in my tracks. I felt my throat tighten as if I was going to cry. Whenever go there, I have a couple of pints then drink more when I get home. I said "I can't go there- it will make me want to drink". We left it, and it was all fine in the end.

It shocked me how that knocked me off kilter. I am used to my AV creeping up on me not hitting me between the eyes. I think it would be easier to react to that sudden feeling of losing out, or being deprived, and giving in. I will need to watch out for that.
