I remember my first real attempt at getting sober back in 2013 shortly after I joined SR. My grandmother passed in October and I lost it. Didn't know how to handle the situation without the booze. Made the whole ordeal way worse. Tenfold. My how things have changed.
Feeling those rough emotions sober allows you to grow and brings a strong wisdom to the family that's greatly needed.
