Yea, I'm with y'all on the V day! ....commercialized the way it is, it seems fraught with problems. Unmet expectations , and all that stuff.

Not only Hallmark Card Companies,....but the confectioners must also have a significant vested interest in the holiday. And of course the jewelers,......and the stuffed miniature bear manufacturers !
