It's been a good day and evening. Brunch at mom's with my favorite cousins, now nearing the end of my ten-hour shift. Emotions finely tuned, and a general happiness overhead. Life doesn't have to be perfect to be good, and I'm grateful for this peace of mind.
Think I'll go home and work on some music. Life is good.
