OT: I've been reflecting on happiness and it seems to me that if I follow the opposite of conventional wisdom it brings better results. So, instead of being driven to actions that benefit myself, rather if I focus on actions that benefit others, I find myself to be happier and more contented. As well, I am less troubled by negative thoughts of guilt or regret. Hmmm..
