Dee- good point. I'm striving towards being satisfied with who I am now. I'm a better man than I was 50 days ago.
Fantail. Yep, it's probably not too productive playing what if. If I wasn't an old drunk I wouldn't have gone to Iraq for 6 years. You had to have problems to go there in 05, I fit in well. I'm glad I did that on several levels. Who knows if one day many years ago when I called in with the "brown bottle flu" was the day I would have run over by a bus. Fate is a funny thing.
Our mistakes/failures help make us what we are. It's good to be alive and have another day. Glad I didn't drink today.
