48 Days sober
Every day is a new record. I feel and look better. Lost 10 lbs- beer weight. I still have many problems but at least they are not getting worse. I'm hopeful my situation will continue to improve even if slowly. Over 30 years of drinking I'm grateful I'm not in worse shape.
Smoking is the next thing to go but I was told to wait. I've learned it's best to follow advice from those sober for many years.
I wonder what type of person I'd be if I'd never drank? I guess at this point the best I can do is find out what type of person I am as a non-drinker. A little melancholy thinking about that.
