Grateful this evening that my dahlias are blooming! The Japanese beetles, unfortunately, are grateful, too. LOL. I sprayed for bugs today, but then it rained HEAVILY so I have to do it over, I guess. It's all very new and exciting for me, though.
Grateful, so very grateful, that when I took my husband's border collie to the vet this morning, they didn't find anything terribly wrong right off the bat. I don't think I could take losing another pet so soon after Patsy and I don't know what it would do to my husband. So I'm very glad that Dusty is probably OK.
