It made me smile that you and UP thought I was musical. I'm not at all! I just seem to plod on, learning really slowly, humiliating myself constantly, hoping no one asks me to play for them. But this year I'm just going to see if, maybe, just maybe, I can play something decent with consistent practice. It's an experiment, to find out if there's any possibility that I could actually play this thing.
Tops, cold beans on a snowy day, that doesn't sound much of a treat. Could you warm them up in the hot tub?

Our water pressure is down for some reason - not enough for a shower this morning (reminiscent of my student days, showering under a cold drip). I've filled the kettle for a cup tea, just in case the water cuts off completely. Hopefully it will be back to normal when we get home after work tonight.
