It's always with the guys isn't it Mark? I've had to deal with a lot of that in my sobriety as there was no avoiding most of it. A few weeks ago an old friend came to visit. I was genuinely put off by the anticipation of that visit and felt the need to post (I think you'll remember as you commented on my thread about it in the newcomers). Anyways, I'm glad you got it out in the open over email before you went. That helps set the stage. When I show up for family affairs now it's a tub of sparkling waters instead of beers. I just wish folks would resume their own drinking instead of what they think is supportive by not. Yep. I'm still bashful about it at times, but it's gotten better.
