I like San Diego, but it took moving away for a few years to really appreciate it. I guess it depends on what you are looking for. You already have beaches where you are. We have less things that can kill you.

I'm from north county, which locals think is kind of Hicksville compared to the city limits. But I think it's more beautiful.
