Mark, the guy who told me about the acting lessons has kinda annoyed me. He wrote to the teacher and copied me, saying he really wanted to do the play we both auditioned for, that we both love the play(which is true) and that we could be scene partners. Our teacher had asked if we had plays we wanted to read from.
However, I would prefer fresh material, a new challenge, and frankly, I'm still bummed not to get that part, I don't want to read it again. I keep thinking I will disappoint Mark if I tell him this. But I've too long tried to appease men. I wish he had asked me first, rather than writing to our teacher. I guess I will think on it today. I'm upset that Mark has put me in this position. I think he's a bit selfish. I know the scenes he wants have long monologues for his character, and my character has few lines in response!
