These horrendous heat waves we now have (no longer cool by the bay here

) remind me of withdrawal. I get horribly anxious as the heat builds and there is no escape. So I breath, and drink water, and pray and believe it will be over soon. After 4 days of this, I feel beyond sick. Every part of me hurts because I am so swollen from the heat.
It might sound crazy, but a part of me is grateful for the reminder. The heat will pass, and as long as I am vigilant, I never have to go through withdrawal again.
