Cold and rainy here. It's been a wet season so far, El Niņo is coming and is quite welcome. We will roll out the red carpet for him.
All the holiday parties definitely get us thinking about booze. A couple days ago a colleague was talking about buying his dad a particular bottle, and I got the most intense craving for it, stronger than I've had in months. I even let myself seriously consider drinking again, it sounded so great to escape for a little while. But I know it would make everything so much worse, and I still care about my life enough to want to prevent that. This time of year booze is everywhere.
