I haven't got anything very eloquent to add to those other posts. I just speak as another Mum. I know how much your daughters mean to you. I've got one too. She is the apple of my eye.

When my Emily was little, she saw me drunk many many times. She saw me laying on the sofa on Saturday mornings when I should have been spending quality time with her. She's 19 now and away at uni. I treasure every moment with her. I'm off to pick her up on Friday and bring her home for Christmas and I just can't wait.

Your girls are waiting for you Wendy. Get yourself back home and go make it up with them.

I've just watched my sponsor throw away almost 7 years of sobriety and it's breaking my heart. Life is just too short to play games with this thing. Addiction will kill us if we let it.
