Day 17- holy cow- day 17.
I am so, so glad that I decided to stop drinking 17 days ago. I have not had a hangover in 16 days! That is awesome.
I look around and see all the damage alcohol is doing, has done, and will do to others that I love who have this illness too.
But I am happy as hell that I crawled myself out of the hole.
Have a baby shower in a few hours so I have to get ready for that. Thankful it is the morning so there will be no drinks served
and these specific group of friends don't drink in general anyway, so I should probably hang out with them more often.
