Hi Pams, thank you for sharing your mixed feelings about the holiday party. It is clear from your post that if you attend the party you will put your sobriety in jeopardy. Is that something you are willing to risk? If you didn't go, what would you miss out on? A bunch of people getting drunk? That doesn't sound very exciting....
You can always use an excuse: a family emergency, you got sick, etc. then on Monday you'll get the low-down on who was a drunk mess at the party - and it won't be you!
