Good morning Marchers
Paradise is having a heat wave, it's 28C already at not quite 9.30am, I've just come in from hanging out blankets I've washed before storing them for the summer and it's warm! I got up extra early this morning to go down to the beach for a swim, it was delicious.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you who celebrate it. I've always loved the intention of Thanksgiving -- to gather to eat and enjoy and give thanks without the hullaballoo of presents and so on. If any of you is eating turkey have an extra slice for me, it's about the only meat that I really love.
The follow-up of Black Friday seems a bit of a shame but I read something delightful on a Scottish (Scot?) blog -- book shops there have "Civilised Saturday" where workers dress up, offer a pot of tea or coffee to customers along with a slice of something. I am so doing that in December!
