Night one
I spent the whole day yesterday
Trying to list the whys
To stop the curse of drinking
As I approached the night
I went to bed sober
And so it begins again
The voices and the planning
That rattle round my brain
Can I act myself through this..
As if its no big deal
Can I face the emotions
That drinking couldn't heal?
Today is here it starts again
Real feelings, real day, real me
Please keep me strong to carry on
So I can be set free.
