Just keep coming back here when that happens to remind yourself that you belong with us and that we have your back. It's so easy to get caught up in thoughts that things are better, the more time and distance we put between ourselves and that last drink, the easier it is to swallow the lies that the AV will tell us. Even with all the drama that accompanied my last drink there are times I find my AV saying that it's been long enough now that I'll be okay if I only have one. Hah! No such thing as just one for me. That's why I know I need to be here, working my recovery with you all.
