Gonzo , I'm at 6 months and still see my fingers shake sometimes. Especially with any caffeine. Alcohol messes with your GABA receptors. You can google it. Basically your nervous system becomes hyper excitable without your "drug of choice" and it can take quite a while for it to recover to what would be normal. Why so many in recovery have a hair trigger for anxiety symptoms. I keep telling myself to hang in there. but it is discouraging.
