My doctor prescribed librium for me after my pancreatitis attack and I take it in the evenings when I'd normally be craving a drink. It has helped. Don't be afraid to use the tools you have; it's better than ending up in the ER like I did.
For everyone that has relapsed, please stay with us. This is your home. We are your friends and your support system. You don't have to go off and start over with a new "class" or whatever. This is what we are here to do, support one another through thick and thin.
