NLP is fascinating. The book "achievement through NLP" was suggested to me by somebody who was very shy and uncomfortable in social situations. I had a hard time believing it because he is now anything but shy.
As a manager, you'll find it particularly useful. People respond to those who are like them. NLP teaches you how to read people and copy their thought processes.
For example. If you agree with what I'm saying, you might say:
- I see what you mean
- I hear what you're saying
- I feel ya
That would reveal how you sense the world
