I read through the link that DEE posted and I believe that I need to have some better coping strategies for dealing with the cravings that come up. I don't think I had any before and that was my downfall.
I found out that these cravings were usually short in duration and I need to find ways of getting through. Two things that interested me was urge surfing and having a list of "distractions" in my wallet to look at and act on. I have a rough list but am still working on it. This is what I got so far.
Anyway it is one week since I have had a drink. Thanks everyone for being here and have a good sober day.
