Good to meet you BlueFairy, you sound like you know a lot about what's gone wrong in your life, I hope you are able to move forward from it and make a new life. Having support from hubby is fantastic it makes all the difference for me.
Carlos, Dizzy, AV has us justifying everything just so we can continue drinking, it blinkers us to the warnings ( my exh was shocked when I finally told him to go, even after me saying daily we couldn't continue with his drinking. I know he convinced himself it would always be okay) and I turned a blind eye to so much so that I could continue poisoning myself daily.
