Horrible day at work today...burst into tears in front of my staff and on the phone to the boss. Must've sounded like a sniveling idiot...so embarrassing and very unprofessional..they have no idea about my alcoholism...so i am so very grateful that today is over and i am still sober.
On the other hand, sometimes it doesn't hurt for employees to see you more as a human being and not just a boss. And your boss (unless he/she is a total butthead) is probably more worried about how he or she contributed to that situation.
