That's great. That's something I was unable to do while drinking, as hard as I tried. I am way overdue for an ob/gyn checkup among other things .I need a CBC, etc. I didn't want to hear the bad news and always made a deal with myself that I'd go after two months of being sober. I was so fearful.
Scratch that plan. I ended up in ER/ICU and had every test/blood test under the sun at the "zenith" of my drinking career. Constant monitoring and bloodwork, EKG, liver tests galore, etc. You are doing it the smarter way. i admire you.
