Congratulations willdequit. Make a simple plan for each day - rise, work, shop, clean kitchen, walk, go to movie, explore local knitting class options, two-hour read at a coffee shop, meditation, stretch, then bed. Very simple. Fill the day with your plan. Do one every day. I am so happy for you. What a gift you are about to give yourself. Be realistic too. Even try "I can drink tomorrow if I choose, but I am not going to drink today." For the first several days, that keeps you from looking at the future as if it is Mt. Everest and impossible to scale. Just today willdequit. Just today. That's all we are going to worry about for now. Welcome.
