Well! You who follow my rants will be surprised that Mr. Obnoxo-singer was actually tolerable today. As I think I said, this group is pretty top notch and he can't lord over everyone. Really he is a nice fellow (drinks like a fish though), but just rubs me the wrong way and is a bit condescending when I think he trying to be helpful... in his way.
Take my old car into the shop tomorrow. Developed a pronounced clunk in the drive train.. not good. If costs more than $100 to fix I think I will park the old machine, it is 25 years old and paid nothing for it. I think I got my money's worth. Sadly it does not have a lot of miles, only 106K, average of about 4,200 mi/yr. But everything is wearing out, and the AC is shot too.
Normally that would have me in an anxiety mode, drowning it all in booze. Now it is just, C'est la vie.
