I liked "Drinking, A Love Story", precisely because she was so good at describing her love affair with booze.
I felt those feelings and thought those thoughts too.
To me it's not meant to be a 'teaching book' like Carrs or Jason Vales, although I did learn from it as much if not more than Carr or Vale.
Its a memoir of a love story - and the break-up is just as important in that story as anything else.
I'd like to hear you guys thoughts when you read the whole thing
