Great stuff Scooter! Really well done. Here on out you'll be able to say, "I have been here and done this. I can do it again". It's a whole different mindset.

Wow- 1/2 Marathon London. Fantastic! That distance has become significantly more popular in recent years since it offers the challenge of a significant number of miles with a more manageable time/training commitment. Also, it's easier on the body. A half was my original goal when I began running (while still drinking). I discovered trails while trying to cross train for the run. The furthest I've run on the roads has been 10. A road half is intimidating to me and I'm super impressed.

My training is progressing well. Not easy- but achievable. I have great running days and those that I'm dragging. I just keep in mind that the miles and time will pay off.
