Good morning weekenders!
Sorry for your loss,, Gilmer.

Love hearing all the positivity about sober weekends here. I am currently unemployed, so a weekend is just another two days to me. But my friends still drink, and I get up Saturday and Sunday mornings and hear their tales of regret and hangovers, and I'm so thankful that I have every day sober.

This weekend does have some significance for me - I've been on home detention for almost 6 weeks, and before that I was in jail for two weeks. I get the ankle bracelet off in about 72 hours. So this is my last weekend cooped up at home. Big plan for this weekend is to finish working on my fourth step. Then Monday, I'll do my Fifth. Tuesday I graduate from treatment. People are asking me if I'll be tempted to go drink without the restrictions - ummmm... NO. I actually learned my lessons this time. And sobriety Is so wonderful - why on earth would I screw that up??

Happy Friday, everyone!
