Greetings one and all. Good to see you all again on our merry little bus of amazing, special, and inspirational people.
Myself and Mrs B plan on getting out of dodge this weekend for a trip to my home town. Things get a little "crazy" at this time of year on the part of the island where we currently live: everything shuts down, potential traffic jams, big fires, racial tension, potential civil disorder, lots of alcohol abuse.
I have lived here for so long, I barely pay attention to it now, but re-reading what I have just typed, I can't help but be struck by the strangeness of it all. So I try to minimise Mrs B exposure to all that stuff. In the long term, I really want us to move somewhere else!
