Itchy, lol, I was referring to 'evening all' from Dixon of dock green, when I was a kid, many moons ago. Yes, I agree, it's Good to remember how blessed we really are.
I remember reading on sr how people found life so fulfilling and gets better and better the longer sober. My ears were open, I hung on to this promise of a life, full but without booze. What did I have to do! My life up to now has been quietish since I got sober. But things are slowly happening. Things I would never have dared planned when drinking , in case I'd be hung over or drinking, one of those states. I feel like the proverbial flower, starting to blossom.
I'm taking my step mum for lunch, arranging afternoon teas at our village hall, whatever next! Gotta do something about ever increasing waistline, but part of that is asthma medication. Part is ice cream.
Life does get better, I'm sad for those that didn't make it and happy for those what did.
There I go, pontificating again.
Listening to doctor who at the proms, music is fantastic.
