I know how hopeless it can feel, being stuck in the grip of addiction.... it's not hopeless. we're here for you. you can do it. What is the very next thing, RIGHT NOW, that you can do to move closer to sobriety in this moment...... then deal with the next.... the next. Stay with us.
The next thing I can do right now is go to an AA meeting and read my big book. That's the only thing that worked before. I need to get off my lazy ass!!! I can't think my way out of this disease.
