Big weekend for me in terms of my recovery.
I'm going to Las Vegas. Basically every vacation I have been on for the past 7+ years has just been an excuse to drink a lot. But Las Vegas was even more than the average.
So I'm nervous. I'm excited too, but definitely nervous. I just really don't want to screw up. I have put a few things in place:
- I have told the person I am going with I don't drink alcohol and why
- A sober friend will be calling me every night at 9PM
- I'll be checking in here a fair amount
- I have planned various activities that don't involve drinking
