LOL Brynn, so many people were eating soup! I felt like I had entered an insane asylum - why eat soup when it is so hot?! Soup is a winter food for me!
Am off for a hike at a new park later today, so looking forward to exploring there. Tomorrow my boy is back from his dad's, might take him to see the Jurassic movie - anyone know if it would be too scary for an 8 year old? If not, maybe swimming at the pool, we have not managed that yet this summer as it seems to storm every day! He has it in his mind to go to a new pool as he saw the massive slides, however in his 8 years he has refused even mini-slides, so I suggested we try the regular slide at the other pool first. Apparently I am a fool, and he ONLY likes big slides. I will probably have to climb all the stairs to rescue him from the top again! He is really brave in most things, but slides always freaked him out for some reason.
