Very good advice. The only issue I see is I can't just show face and leave type of this because it is a small meeting with stakeholders (who drink like fish). We have to discuss some business related planning etc.
So it isn't the type of thing I can escape out the back door. But I def appreciate that ideas.
I think you're right that planning is the best route.
One time I was sober for like 2 months and a business associate really pressured me to drink. I was in China and over there the pressure is very strong.
This will be similar except a bit easier I guess. (In the west theee isn't as much of an emphasis on drinking for business)
