Your plan is what will help you 'recover'; and Live Sober, rather than be a dry drunk. It's about breaking old habits, because 'nothing changes if nothing changes'. I need my plan to be a daily routine thing, and proactive against my alcoholic voice. My plan is in the who; what; where; when of my daily life and has evolved as I my sobriety progressed.
This is what some of mine have looked like 'Where to get a take-away? Somewhere without beer for sale' 'Where to get groceries? Do an online shop so I don't have to walk past the booze aisle' 'What to do when I feel irritable and discontented? Read a book / Go for a walk / Gym class / Listen to a Mickey B recording' 'Who to hang out with on Saturday afternoon? A sober friend' 'Where to go on Friday night? My AA meeting' etc.
